Fedde le Grand

Fedde le Grand (Utrecht, 7 September 1977) is a Dutch house DJ. He is a producer best known for his 2006 track "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit". Le Grand is a frequent headliner at mainstream EDM events like UMF and TomorrowLand, more unconventional EDM festivals such as Sensation and Coachella, popular club venues such as Pacha Ibiza, Green Valley, and Marquee LV, as well as home country events like ADE, Amsterdam Music Festival, and the annual DJMag Top 100 DJs Awards. Le Grand is also known for his remixes of popular artists such as Coldplay, Michael Jackson, Shakira & Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Timeflies, and Martin Solveig.

The single "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" (UK/US) / "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit"〔IMO Records ( "Fedde le Grand Biography" ), ''IMO Records'',Retrieved on 11 February 2012.〕 (Europe, excluding UK) reached the top five on the Dutch Top 40, number one in the United Kingdom and spent five weeks on the Dance Charts in Spain.
Fedde is a co-founder (with Funkerman and Raf Jansen) of Flamingo Recordings and mixes a weekly radio show called "Dark Light Sessions" that airs every Friday on satellite radio, which features many of the Flamingo releases.
F.L.G. has played a key role in the careers of talents such as Nicky Romero, Deniz Koyu and Danny Avila. In recent years he has intensified its commitment to discover talents bringing to light emerging artists like Roul and Doors, John Dish, dBerrie, Jewelz & Sparks, Merk & Kremont, Mike Lucas & Simon Beta (also known as Doctors In Florence) and many others.
He is the nephew of recently knighted LSE Professor Julian le Grand
On Jan. 12, 2015, Fedde released the instrumental mix of "Tales of Tomorrow" on Darklight Recordings which featured collaboration with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. The vocal mix features English singer-songwriter Julian Perretta.
